Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you book a course, enrol a learner, or contract us for consulting work.

Who we are

This page is maintained by Skills Catalyst Consultants to answer common questions about how our training and consulting services are sold and delivered. It is informational and is not a certification or legal advice. Where you need formal wording for a procurement or supply-chain process, contact us at info@skillscatalyst.co.za.

Scope of these terms

These terms apply to every enrolment, booking, quotation and enquiry submitted through this website, and to any training or consulting engagement that follows from it.

  • Placing an enrolment or enquiry is an offer; a booking is confirmed only once we respond in writing.
  • Course outlines, unit standards and NQF levels are described as accurately as possible but may be updated by the relevant SETA or QCTO.
  • In-class cohorts run once minimum group sizes are reached; you will be told your seat status when you enrol.

Fees and invoicing

Prices shown on course pages are in South African Rand and cover tuition, learner material and assessment unless a course page states otherwise. Travel, venue hire and bulk-departmental arrangements are quoted separately.

  • Invoices are issued after a booking is confirmed and are payable per the terms on the invoice.
  • Access to learning material or a seat in a cohort may be withheld while an invoice is outstanding.

Learner obligations

Learners must attend the required contact sessions, submit portfolio evidence by the dates communicated, and provide accurate identity and qualification details for SETA reporting.

Intellectual property

Course material, frameworks and templates supplied during a programme remain the property of Skills Catalyst Consultants or its licensors and may be used for internal learning purposes only.

Limitation of liability

We commit to delivering programmes with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update them from time to time; the version published here applies to bookings made after it is posted.
