About this policy

This page is maintained by Skills Catalyst Consultants to answer common questions about how our training and consulting services are sold and delivered. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to administer training.

• Enrolment and enquiry details: name, email address, phone number, organisation, chosen course, delivery preference and your message.
• Learner administration details required for accredited programmes, such as identity and prior-qualification information, collected directly from you or your employer.
• Basic technical information generated when you browse the site, such as pages requested and approximate location derived from your connection.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to enquiries, confirm bookings and seat availability, deliver and assess training, issue invoices, and meet reporting obligations to the relevant SETA or quality-assurance body.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers that host this website and our database, and with SETAs or quality councils where a programme requires learner registration. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry records are kept while they are commercially relevant. Learner and assessment records are kept for the period required by the applicable accreditation body. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to retain.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Send requests to info@skillscatalyst.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

Access to submitted enrolments and enquiries is restricted to authorised administrators who sign in with an account, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No online service can promise absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive documents through free-text form fields.
